How To Join the ALAEU

For those who own entire dogs that are or will be part of an Australian Labradoodle breeding program

Membership is 30 euros for the first year,

You will receive kennel prefix approval and registration, program listing on the Member Breeders page with a link to your website, and regular newsletters full of health care information, helpful tips, informative articles and important ALAEU announcements.

If you are an Australian Labradoodle Breeder and would like to join as an ALAEU Breeder Member:

1) Read and understand the ALAEU Rules & Regulations, Standard Of Excellence and Code of Ethics

2) Gather the following information:

  Photo of your breeding dog(s) portrait and profile

  Pedigree of your breeding dog(s) proof of breed is required and this MUST be traceable to KC~UK, FCI, AKC, UKC, ANKC, CKC, or other registry or ALAEU parentage.

3) If your dog was bred by an ALAEU member breeder, you will need the Puppy Transfer Form, this is not necessary if you purchased your breeding dog from a non-ALAEU member.

4) OFA, BVA and/or PennHIP testing, if the breeding dog is over the age of 12 months. Please review the hip and elbow testing requirements.

5) Copies of all other health testing if you wish to participate in the Silver or Gold Paw Reward Program. These include eye exam by certified opthamologist, Thyroid test including TgAA, and PRA testing or status via parent dog test reports. l testing is to be sent to dogs@ilainc.com, the dog registrar.

6) Website address for your program and the name of an ALAEU breeder member who will sponsor you for membership. We will assign you a sponsor if you do not know a current member.

7) Copy of the contract you use to sell puppies

8) Once you have your information gathered, fill out the Online Membership Application, Once this form is completed, you will be asked to provide a kennel prefix name, and this name will need to be approved before it is registered.

****9) Print out a Non ALAEU Dog Registration form for each of your breeding dogs that are not already registered with the ALAEU. Fill these out completely. You must register every dog you will use to breed Australian Labradoodles including parent breeds. All dogs MUST have permanent ID such as Microchips, Tattoo's OR DNA profiles.

****10) Make payment via Paypal for the kennel prefix and dog registration or transfer of each of the dogs in your program. Payment links are provided below.

****11) At the end of the online application process you will need to send all the completed paperwork listed above to the dog registrar :

All of the above information is verified and reviewed, including all testing and contract information. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the processing of your information. Once all information has been verified, you will receive an acceptance letter and will be provided the ALAEU logos for your use, as well as a listing on the ALAEU website under the Member Breeders directory. You will also receive a registration certificate and transfer of ownership form for each dog you have registered, and will have access to our ALAEU database and newsletters.

Note: All documentation must be submitted within 30 days of your application submission. If you have not provided this information within that time, you will be required to re-submit another application.
